This is my first post under the category “Photo Discoveries” where I will write up quick notes on interesting photographers and sites that I might find that day. They will get interspersed with my posts featuring my own photography.
An new acquaintance of mine Michael Ares, posted that a recent photo of his has been chosen for the Los Angeles Times Southern California Moments page, where they pick a photo per day. This led me to the Los Angeles Times Framework site, devoted to photography and the site of one of the LA Time staff photographers Rick Loomis.
Other photographers often published include: Chris Camargo, Eric Kim, David Patrick Valera, Elizabeth Wang-Lee and Erin Xavier.
I also learned that April is Month of Photography LA
