The Beach from the Train

I’m back home after a few days in San Diego at the Burton Group Catalyst 2008. Even though a bunch of us went down for the conference, we all agreed that we would rather talk and sit comfortably on the Amtrak than drive and, inevitably, get stuck in traffic or behind an accident on the 405.

This is on the way back to Simi Valley, heading north. I think this is Solano Beach, or as announced by the conductor Sensuous Solano Beach. Cam phone, through a dirty window, moderately processed in Lightroom.

The thing about this cam-phone photography (at least my cam-phone) is that there is a two second delay between the time you press the button and the photo is taken. This makes scenes with moving objects experiments in accidental photography. I’m happy with this one.
