It is odd to see a Civil War Reenactment in southern California, but each November the Rotary Club sponsors one at a nearby farm. As with most re-enactments, the garb is authentic down to the weave, but it is still odd to see them fighting in a recently harvested corn field with cactus growing on the hill sides behind them.
I took my first images of this event last year limited by a 85mm lens. This year I was able shoot the battle with a 70-200mm and in the camp with a 24-70mm. I got a few favorites.
